Uniting families of United States Air Force Academy cadets across the great state of Alabama — offering support, community, and connection from R-Day through graduation.
The USAFA Parents Club of Alabama is a volunteer-run, non-profit organization dedicated to supporting Alabama families whose sons and daughters have earned the honor of attending the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
We serve as a bridge between families at home and their cadets at the Academy — providing guidance, community, and resources from the moment of appointment through commissioning day.
From BCT basics to graduation celebrations, we're with Alabama families every step of the journey.
We organize coordinated care package drives during Basic Cadet Training so your cadet knows Alabama is cheering them on through one of the toughest six weeks of their life.
Just received an appointment? We host dedicated sessions for new families covering what to expect at R-Day, how the Academy year works, and how to stay connected with your cadet.
We celebrate and recognize the outstanding achievements of Alabama cadets throughout their Academy journey — from R-Day through commissioning and beyond.
Upperclass cadet parents volunteer to mentor families of basics and fourth-class cadets — sharing experience, reassurance, and practical advice from someone who has been there.
Helping families stay connected with their cadets through communication tips, care package ideas, and understanding the unique challenges of Academy life.
Access to information, guides, and resources to help families navigate the Academy experience — from initial appointment through graduation day.
Building a strong network of Alabama families who understand the unique USAFA experience — because no parent should navigate this journey alone.
Commissioning Week is a whirlwind. We provide guidance on planning, logistics, and local Alabama celebration ideas for when your cadet crosses the stage and earns their commission.
We work closely with USAFA Liaison Officers stationed throughout Alabama to help connect promising high school students with the appointment process and resources.
Stay connected with club news, quarterly meetings, and social gatherings across Alabama.
